The design of the Tiger Racing ERA HSS (Historic Single Seater) was inspired by the single seat race cars made famous by such iconic names as Lotus, BRM and of course ERA in the 50's and early 60's.
Tiger aquired the rights to the ERA (English Racing Automobiles) brand and following two years of exhaustive development and testing launched the ERA HSS.
This race car, together with its sister model the ERA 30 are now in full production and are staring to make their mark on the race track. The HSS is powered by either the 1.8 or 2.0 litre Ford Zetec engine and is driven through a Hewland Mk9 5 speed historic box. The body is made from GRP with carbon and weighs in at just 460kg.
